Senator Lisa Krasner served three regular and three special sessions for the Nevada Assembly until her election to the Nevada Senate in 2022. She has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of LaVerne College of Law. Aside from her legislative work, Senator Krasner currently teaches U.S. Constitution and NV Constitution courses in the Political Science Department at Truckee Meadows Community College. She believes in strong communities, and thus, has served as a Commissioner on the State of Nevada Commission on Aging and Disability and as a Commissioner for the City of Reno’s Recreation and Parks Commission.
